"The background! The bird is perfect. However, background has a special role (of course not as important as the bird itself) but it counts to make the photograph perfect. It's too dull/flat, and if you havenΒ΄t seen it in the biggest version..then it looks like the bird is 'cut' into it."

Hmm, I can see that reasoning. In an ideal world, you would have gotten some defocused objects or light points in the background to break the monotony. But hey, at least the background is not full of dead twigs

Shrug, this photo is not perfect, but it's good enough for me to like it. Sounds like the group has very high standards

Tried so many many many times to get a decent photo of a Blue Jay whilst Ive been in Canada, and so far, failed.
Little buggers always fly away by the time I return with my camera.
