I think they should have a "Blotwald" (Phantom Blot resurrection imitating Oswald's form) like this in the second game. He/it would pester Mickey and Oswald, trying to keep the brothers from working together by pointing out all the things Oswald did out of jealousy and hatred to Mickey in the first game. They would finally take him on as a mid-to-late-game boss.

Oswald looks like a dominating, evil ruler, who slaughters characters with deadly ink, controlled by the monster.
This image reminds me of the page for Chapter 6 of "Johnny the Homicidal Maniac"-- Tess poses positively in a dress, while a tentacle of the Wall Monster sneaks around her from a hole in the floor... [link]
