Description ... *clawing my way up from the deepest depths of homework hell*

This school year is crraaaaaaazyyy ;__;
But throughout the weeks I was atleast able to doodle up some headshots... or in Balder's case a full-body drawing. :T 'cause I really needed to get his entire design figured out haha. xD He is such a pretty boy but he's fun to draw so it's all good.

As for everyone else, starting in the top left corner it's Loki, Thor, Hod, Skadi, and Hel at the bottom. (This is the first time I've posted a pic of Skadi here, wooo~ : D Welcome to the gallery, Skadi~! Sorry your debut picture is such a cranky-looking one, I'll upload a calmer one of you someday! >v>)

but yeahhh, technically loki should also be a redhead as far as mythological accuracy goes, but I prefer giving him black hair so he contrasts better with thor. Β

ooh! well without going into too many words, it's basically the way old junior-high-me had first envisioned him when I started getting into this mythology, with a few tweaks and adjustments throughout the years. long and unruly black hair meant to invoke a stray-dog-by-design sort of look, and a blue jacket like the hottest flames with a bit of jester-inspired flair!

well, depends on whether you're talking about the color spectrum or visible spectrum, plus chemical makeup plays a factor. ... but more importantly it boils down to the fact that blue suits him better than white. B)
and you might be the first person I've heard describe him as huggable...!

X3 This picture made me giggle like a crazy lady... I love the looks on their faces! Although I'd love to know why Thor's blushing. And never draw a calm Skadi! Draw her skiing with a look of supreme rage! XD I love how Hel looks so unimpressed by the whole thing. And Baldur... you narfy bastard... XD I can't remember who said it, but I definitely agree that he's a total hippy! You should give him tie dye next time you draw him. :3 And then we can go tree hugging together! (is also a total hippy, skips away hand in hand with hippy Baldur). On second thought, I'm not that keen on Baldur. (pushes him over a tree root, skips on alone).

In regards to Thor, I imagine he's probably blushing because Sif's either being overly cute or making him feel awkward or something, I'unno :'DD
... but OH GOODNESS I really want to draw Skadi skiing with a look of supreme rage now. I will HAVE to do that at some point. That's too hilarious to pass up.

Hippy-Balder is a very interesting idea as well, I kinda like that..! xD He'd probably look damn good in tie-dye, too.... hmmm, I may need to draw that someday as well..!

Hooray I givesded insipirations! And I will love you forever when I get to see these amazing piccies! I just always found it so great how Skadi is the goddess of skiing and snowshoeing. XD I don't think any other religion has actual deities for that... Go Skadi! Be unique!

And yeah, hippy!Baldur would look quite dashing in tie dye... with some nice flowers in his hair.

FFFF I knooow, and I tried so hard to make him look not-so-snobby in this picture, but some of it still manages to come through.... x'D doggarnit Balder, you're just impossible.....

And yup, I draw all the giants with yellow eyes~ <: (It's never been very evident before since Loki and Hel were the only giants I had in my gallery before Skadi here. x'D;; )

... Wow haha, that just makes me realize how ironic the whole fire/ice thing is, considering how things between Loki and Skadi are pretty tense... x'D Talk about symbolism..!
