The girl's skintone in my original work has purple brownish shade, but the scanned image here shows more yellow

An exceptionally good portrait, particularly in watercolour. You've gotten a nice blend in tones, and in my experience, darker skin tones are more difficult to emulate properly. Excellent work - astounding eyes.

I got the skin tone purplish brown as I liked, in the original work. But the colors did not show up in the scanned image. The ochre as underpainting did instead

Aww I just meant to say I did try to faithfully stick to the real skin tone. However, the scanned image shows more of the underpainting color, which I happen to also like
