I actually saw this and I can say without a doubt it's one of the most annoying movies ever. Not only was Peter a manipulative jerk, but the characters are constantly breaking the forth wall and it's so poorly done. The plot was also pretty dumb and generic as well.

I have a theory...
it may be in peter's 'adult years' & the farmer may be a relative looking after the farm
(this is just a theory tho, correct me if I'm wrong)

Oh God I remember the animated series and the book written by Beatrix Potter.
After this screwed up film adaptation I wanna see Richard Adams precious Watership Down reboot where realistic CGI bunnies rip each others throats out in HD.

I just saw it. My feelings are...mixed.
I've seen far worse adaptations...but then I've seen far better as well.
I get that they're trying to adapt it into a modern setting.
But one asks 'Who actually asked for that?' Its original setting is part of its charm.
Ah well, I'll wait till it's out. If there's good things to say about it, I'll look into it and if there isn't, I won't.
It would hardly be the worst thing Sony Pictures Animation have done recently.

If anyone wants to see a really decent Beatrix Potter animation, look no further than The World Of Peter Rabbit And Friends.
Lovingly hand-drawn animation, beautiful music and some of the best voice talents Great Britain has to offer!
