Love the improvement! I like the pose, and that you can see most of the body. The tentacles(?) and the tail make this dude look fearsome. I think this is more in "your" style than your first attempt.

I really like how the tail is just a bit more muted than the body in front of it, it realy gives it a sense of depth. Very nice~

Both pieces are gorgeous, but this is definitely more dynamic and eye-catching. I'm not familiar with the dingonek, but your other version looks kinda like a foo dog, whereas this one definitely looks like its own species. Very, VERY nice!
