one of my recent projects,i decided to give A.J Bury(~samson50 ) something since his birthday was on November 9th,this is my belated Birthday present for him,i know how much he loves Lamborghinis and i took it to myself to draw the one,the only Countach LP500S,with the huge spoiler and 4 liter V12,frankly this is one of my fave Lambos as well because it's one of the hottest cars ever made and proof that the cars from the 70's and 80's never die.this one's modified with a set of Kreisser F1 Mufflers(one of the nastiest sounding mufflers i've heard) and a Twin Turbo system from Hennesey making 750 HP linked to a 6 speed manual and a racing suspension for those turns,since the car itself is already badass stock,it was just right that i concentrated on the interior and left the outside alone.it took over a week to finish and i was a bit depressed about the way the coloring came out,hope you like it A.JRelated content

Seriously,i agree with you on the color,i have to blame my scanner for it or my attempt at making reflections since i used a Red Orange colored pencil,i'm seriously considering on working with a marker or redo the whole car on Adobe Illustrator as a Vector Art car.i'll admit it wasn't easy drawing the Countach since i haven't done one in years and the Pen is kind of a double edged sword when it comes to Lineart making
thank you master,by the way i'm loving the critique score board,it's like a competition,i forgot to tell you i bought a sketch pad of Bristol paper today and i'm currently working on a 1969 Chevrolet Nova

well,i tried to work on the reflections of the car since i wanted to make a transition from the clearest point of the car to the darkest and it's not going so well.it's true,this car's a legend and a Gearhead's dream

Yes...it can get frustrating when that does not work for you. It looks to me as if you are right on the edge of taking your work to a higher level. I know it gets frustrating...i cannot tell you how many times i have yelled at my work while throwing pencils or brushes at the wall at two in the morning...but if you can stick with it and keep pushing for the effects you want, i am sure you will get there soon.
Of course, the bad news is that once you get that effect you want, then you will find other places to improve your work!

that's what i get for using A4 paper,David.i don't mind the critiques either infact they help me out.i have to find this thick paper a friend of mine used to give me(like 5 sheets thick in compatison),thanks for the feedback.
