1. any of various marine coelenterates of a soft, gelatinous structure, esp. one with an umbrella like body and long, trailing tentacles; Medusa.
When stung by a jellyfish, first aid may be needed immediately. The stings of many jellyfish are not deadly, though some species can be. However, even nonfatal jellyfish stings are known to be extremely painful. Serious stings may result in death. Hence, people stung by jellyfish must get out of the water to avoid drowning.

I think this one took around 5-6 hours if I remember correctly (not counting time waiting for paint to dry lol).

aah giving her a frilly dress matches the frilly tentacles so perfectly! Who knew something so deadly could end up looking so...friendlyXD IT's neat how the black tentacles intersect with the white ones.

It's interesting and creative how you could portrait a jellyfish and still keep it pretty.
Compare the "umbrela" to a dress was very nice, and the hands make it very unique.
