Developmentober 2023 - 31. Redemption

(Bums but older) So Bum helped Cale get back on his feet again, but Cale can't move on before he contacts someone he's been avoiding for over fifteen years.
Cale wants Bum to be there with him, not only to make sure he really makes this phone call, but also to let Bum finally hear what he has been running away from for so long.

Okay this is a huge event in Cale's life and I'd love to add some dialogue and stuff, but uh this scene is simply too big to properly go through before I reveal more about Cale's past, so here's just a lazy sketch for now. (This was supposed to be more refined and posted yesterday, but I've been so tired lately that I went to bed pretty soon after work........)

THANK YOU, this was my OCtober 2023!! I knew I wouldn't have time or energy to do all the prompts, but I'm storywise/development-wise happy with these eight pieces I made.
