Surprise! Lookie what I have for you, watchers!
An entire day of my life. |:
This is a really really old page that was stuffed in my folder for about 6 months, so the art was TERRIBAD. I did what I could in the inking process to make it look better. DX

☆ New Character ☆
Laos is a landlocked country watched over by China, Burma, Vietnam, Cambodia, and Thailand. As the years go by, she becomes more and more influenced by North Vietnam, whom she views as an older sister figure. Fearing this, the United States worked with her king behind the scenes in order to prevent the spread of Communism.

Note: Laos was a monarchy from 1952-1975, so its flag is different than today's.

☆ New Character ☆
Cambodia holds a hidden grudge against Vietnam as much of her land was controlled since the late 1600s. She displays a forbidding countenance and emits a ominous aura because of the constant rebellions within her. One can only fear what it may bring in the future...

Because the United States took off and didn't sign the Geneva Accords, it was not legally bound to following the rules in the document. Eyoooo!

Provisions:

Supported the territorial integrity and sovereignty of Indochina free from French rule.

Cessation of hostilities and foreign involvement in internal Indochina affairs.

Northern and southern zones were drawn into which opposing troops were to withdraw.

Unification of Vietnam on the basis of internationally supervised free elections to be held in July 1956.

The French and the Viet Minh agreed to withdraw all forces from Cambodian soil by October 1954.

Cambodia vowed not to join any military alliance or to allow the basing of foreign military forces on its territory "as long as its security is not threatened."

Laos gains its independence under a constitutional monarchy.

Under a special exemption to the Geneva Convention, a French military training mission continued to support the Royal Lao Army.
