I can't believe this hasn't got more views and favs! It certainly deserves more. The pose, the lighting, the style, it's all fantastic. I love how the glow from the lamp is lighting him, it gives him a kinda sinister look.

Seriously awesome. The horse and rider is dynamic and demands attention. The background is moody and perfectly frames the central figure. The dual light sources of the moon and the lantern are wonderfully executed. And I would be remiss if I did not point out that the whole thing is cool as hell!

Great composition, great lighting! For a speed-paint, it reads *very* well, with a lot of imagined detail (and a good bit of real detail as well). You have all the elements of a great painting.
