Where: Mondo Verde Landgraaf, The Netherlands
Normally, these bowls are used to feed the Egyptian Fruit Bats - but sometimes, the food is so good it attracts multiple Birds and the Bats need to swoop in in time or they'll miss out on it all!
This Turaco seemed very fond of this gooey piece of fruit and knew just how and when to get to it.
Species: Guinea [Green] Turaco
Latin name: Tauraco Persa Persa
Originates from Central and West Africa.
Current status: Least Concern
