You've done it... you've made a bear that I'd like to own! (smiles wryly) I'm not a huge fan of teddy bears as a rule, because you can find them anywhere. But this one =is=, as you said, very, very cute. And the size...! Wow. I am in awe of your sewing skills! And this isn't the only thing you sew... (hurries back to admire the rest of your gallery)

Did I ever tell you about our Star Wars X-mas?
You know those 12" "action figures" heh Dolls really. Well, I had an Obi-Wan and a friend had Darth Maul and also Qui-Gon. Well, I happened to spot these little...PERFECTLY sized Victorian Santa suit ornaments at a Macy's Christmas Store. So, We bought the dark red one for Maul, the white and silver sparkly one for Obi-Wan (and I made him some silver metallic pants to go with - which had the effect of giving the doll an alternate "Velvet Goldmine" outfit) and the cream-colored one for Qui-Gon. Somewhere I have undeveloped film of a cheerful Obi-Wan holding a humiliated Darth Maul's hand with a dissaproving Qui-Gon looking over it all. It was supposed to be my X-mas card, but I forgot about it.
We were also going to do a Rudolph the red-nosed Bantha, but never did.
Anyway, The next year for X-mas I gave Robin the dressed-up doll. She "Squeeee!ed" Well, as much as Robin ever does.

LOL! Yes, I watch Ep I structly for Ewan! LOL! I liked Ep II well enough, but still watched it mainly for Ewan. Now Ep III I liked pretty well, and positively DROOLED over Ewan in that one! LOL!

This was done a while back, so I'm not sure I completely remember, but I took little pieces of paper and fitted them to the "bear" body (ha ha pun!) and trimmed them into the shapes I needed, and then used them as patterns for the fabric version. And it was a major pain in the butt! I used doesuede (not real suede but a slightly fuzzy fabric that won't frey).
