This picture alone is creepy enough, but anything by Robert E howard is good in my books

Thank you for turning me onto such a fine story

Never heard of that book, but if the character is even half as scary as this it'll be creepy as anything.

Its just a short story, not a book. But yeah, she was a real creeper

How does it end? Cause I found some info on the story, but the synopsis kinda just...ends. Hope the book isn't like that. I hate when books just end with no closure.

Hmm I thought the ending had good closure. Its really short, like 20 pages or something, you should give it a read.

That's not too long. I've read much longer books before. So Pigeons of Hell. Guess I'll have to look online, cause collections of short stories are always so freakin expensive.

One more story to suggest: Count Magnus, by the master ghost-storyteller, M. R. James! Grim, relentless evil from beyond the grave!
...Pleasant dreams!

ah yes, I need an M.R.James, I read a penguin collection of his works a while back, the only one I really remember standing out was "The Mezzotint". I'll have to re-read count magnus.

Please do! I highly recommend it, not only as a story but for its illustrative possibilities! James' spooks usually aren't very visible; you feel their presence, or get a horrific glance out of the corner of your eye...but Count Magnus makes his presence known most unpleasantly, if disguised in that dark cloak and wide-brimmed hat...but what will appeal to you the most is Magnus' hooded COMPANION, muhahahahahaaa!!!
