Yet another image of my "Foliate Me" sculpture piece. I was playing around with filters, and planned to submit this in the Photomanip category, but it specifically states not to put it there if you're just using a filter. So what's a girl to do?This is a photograph I took of a sculpture I created (of myself, as a greenwoman--the spirit of the blackberry plant), then I manipulated it lightly in PS. If somebody wants to suggest another category, I'm all for it...Ed: Here's links to views of the work in progress, and the finished, prefired original--dunno why I didn't include them in the first place...[link]

I don't know about a gift of any sort, but the way it works is whoever referrs you gets a tiny percent of Cafepress's part the proceeds from whatever stuff you sell. I've made a whopping $16 bucks in referral commission total last time I checked, and that's with 3 or 4 referrals, so we're not talkin' megabucks here. BUT now YOU can refer other people and do the same! So thanks!

hmm sculpture, photomanipulation, or portrait. any of those would do. i think its up to you to decide what people you want to see it besides your fans (such as myself). i would go with portrait because it really does look like you! spirit and all! now print out tshirts and everyone can have you. woohoo!

now im having a brain storm about 'support your favorite deviant' tshirt idea. since you got the ear of the higher ups... wouldnt it be cool if everyone could submit one of their pieces for a tshirt so people who love them could buy a wearable version....

i really like what you have done with the filter. It gives this photo a surreal (heh) look that i find very appealing (of course). i hope the print works out. It is a great image for a print.

I think the darkroom category covers stuff like filters and contrast, etc. That looks really cool, by the way. Great colors - very autumnal. The eyes are very intense.
