Description
The third canonical archangel of Christian tradition. Raphael's name means "God Heals." He is known for his role in the book of Tobit and is also allegedly the angel who troubled the pool of Bethesda. I have depicted him more human than the other angels, decidedly, because he is known for traveling with Tobias. Thus comes his staff and the fish which is an important part of the story.Related content

Featured your excellent, humble archangel: Is Today Too Early?Today. What will I do today that I postponed yesterday, and all the days before that? What do we find brings us lasting joy? Is it what we're given, or what we've done with it, that makes for fulfilment? What will I postpone today, because it's not truly important, in looking back, as things I think I have no time for, because I fail to make time for what actually does matter? This is what we forget most as we scramble frantically through life, and sometimes--no, on a regular basis--we need to slow down and take stock, rearrange our priorities, and reorient our steps in the proper direction. After today's feature, I'll do two more this size, then switch to less frequent ones with more works by the same artist, in order to devote more time to creating art, than collecting and sharing others. I'm also attempting to lose weight, so I'll be sharing that progress in the "Poll" section. He was mentioned in OT deuterocannonical book, Book of Tobit, Uriel in tritonocannonical book, 4 Book of Esdras, hence most Protestants don't acknowledge them (aside Anglicans, and maybe Presbyterians and Methodists, who believe in both Raphael and Uriel).
Check, the whole 7 "Archangels" standing behind the throne of God (only supreme angels Metatron and Sandalphon being more important) comes from Tobit, the name Archangel being mentioned specifically to refer where Michael was mentioned, hence why some like Jehovahs see him as only Archangel.
We had one hospital named after him nearby
