You raise me up: To more than I can be."

I truly enjoyed painting this one, and now that it's finished, I think I'm quite pleased with it. There's still a lot room for improvements, but it's as good as I can manage with my current artistic skills. I used reference image for the face and the pose, and I took the background texture from two old photos of mine. I reused the tattoos from one of my older artworks. I wanted the hair to look somewhat like rising smoke and I think that concept came out pretty nicely. The girl is the second main character from the book called Luna. There's plenty of symbolism in the cover, hints about Luna's role in the story, but talking more about them would be spoiling some parts of the book.
