Daniel took this picture in an urban park in Granby, near our home. This tree is majestic by itself. In summer time, I'm sure lot of people are looking for his fresh shade
HDR with 6 RAW images merged together in Photoshop CS3 and then in Photomatix. Minor enhancement in Lightroom.

Yes, I add sharpness in photoshop. But the particular look of this photo came from a process named HDR, which is 3 pictures merged in photomatix. Here, take a look --> [link]

i have an idea for a great shot but i dont have a tree like this nearby....wedge three stones nice and deep in the grass so that just their tips show. take a photo with your tripods legs on the stones....tkae one in each of four seasons and blend them all together in some way(theres lots of creative ways.) the photo will be a killer...but its long term and lots of effort

nope...will be going to aunt's farm december for a few days, endless fields of golden wheat, forests, waterfalls, and it's rain season then. so huge fluffy clouds and the thing i'm most excited about....thunderstorms

When Daniel left home yesterday, they were no clouds, but the wind turn and suddently big huge clouds start to appear. Glad they did, hen! Thanks Violet!
