I'm not really a fan of how this one turned out. I was going for African American (something I did a much better job at with some of my later mermaid and genie drawings), but here I think I missed the mark and just made her look a bit too generic. I do like the "Mermaid Fact" for this one though, as it helps to explain a bit of their biology.

Mermaid Fact:
Mermaids have incredible upper body strength. This is so that they can lift themselves out of the water and have some degree of mobility on land using their arms. Their arms, backs, shoulders, pecks, and abbs have nearly three times the muscle fiber density of the same muscles in human women of similar upper body build, giving them roughly 2.5 times the upper body strength of human women.
