Man, Vag - your style is so unique - you completely OWN this style! I envy your eye for interpreting cars into cartoons. My brain always wants to stay too close to reality that I have to work to get the fun exaggeration that you pull off!

Thanks Brian! I'm far from owning it!!!... To tell you the truth it came a long way to be like this, I've got around 35-40 rough sketches of toon cars that are are not toon, at least by the standards I want to achieve. Basically you got to study the form of the car as a whole and then twist it dramatically, but carefully so the design doesn't loose it's original character - whatever makes a model unique. It's tough.
And another thing I gotta improve is my speed, it takes about 15-20 minutes to make a sketch like this one, but coming to a finished render it takes me about 30-40 hours each

Ah - well, that makes two of us, then. I get my sketches quick but the final render is the long haul!
I've started doing some final renderings in copic marker and then painting them in Corel Painter.
It's way quicker (3-10 hours total).
