Description "What do you want to do now, Susumu-kun?"

Yay, imma posting something for once. This was originally done for a school project. At my school, we have this anthology of artsy stuff called Intercurrents. Basically, it's a book that they publish every year full of pictures, photog, poems, and short stories made by students. Since this is my last year in high school, I really wanted to get something in it. And I also want to be the first to have manga-styled artwork in the anthology (there's never been any art of that kind in previous years). I could be the first!

I decided that since my Nagareboshi project is going to be with me for a while (and because I love my characters so much!), I'd feature Natsuko and Susumu. No one at school will know who they are or recognize any of the various references written on the wall behind them, but the two will be immortalized in a published work. Ahhh, I love them so much~

Try to find all the references in the graffiti!! xD I'll give you one of them to explain the title: Retro Kanban is a Japanese site dedicated to posting pics of old billboard advertisements that the country doesn't use anymore. You could say the site is like a collection. They gather advertisements from the 50's, 60's and beyond, and put them on display. Some of the writing on the wall was taken from an ad for "Oronamin C," some type of fruity drink.
