Her heart is not of stone nor gold,
but full of stories, ages old.

Of sailors who once roamed the sea,
good things that would come in three.

Of creatures lurking in the deep,
ancient lights, never sleep.

Of storms that raged, thunder and rain,
men overboard, rescues in vain.

For in her heart lies the ocean -
Wild and free; tamed it shall never be.

Okay, here's the more artistic part to this description. I have been working for days on this, I think it's been exactly a week now since I started. It initially began as a simple idea, just a painting of some dolphins, but grew out to be much more. I've chosen species that are special to Ebony (aka Ebonenee ) and/or that I thought were special yet well known from Australia. The animals are also placed quite deliberately. The Manta ray, Dwarf minke whale, Emperor angelfish, Double-saddled butterflyfish and Blue-girdled angelfish all occur in and near the Great barrier reef, which is located to the upper right of Australia. Of course the Hector's and Maui's dolphin with New Zealand. The Green sea turtles are placed near an important nesting site. The Whale shark, Bottlenose dolphins and Dusky dolphins are placed a bit more freely, though (even though Whale sharks are known from the West coast primarily). The turtles, Whale shark and Bottlenose dolphin are there because Ebony has swum with them, and wrote on her profile that memories of being with them were very special and dear to hear.
