help a lot to draw them in different directions.

Frills! I don't know what I dislike more to draw: frills or braids.
...probably braids because I find frills easier.

Can you make tutorials for shading? I'm terrible at shading and would like some help...

One tip I would recommend, is drawing your picture WITHOUT shading, and then when you're done, draw a very light circle(s) where ever light is being produced and depending on what angle different things are being, it will help you with WHERE you're shading
