Beside of tutorials there is only one way to improve. trainig trainig and training. that's what i've learned at least. ^^

I wasn't actually aware this type of pleats pattern was a legitimate fold for skirts until nowβI'd always assumed each fold was supposed to mirror the fold next to it (like the folds on the left and right sides of the skirt in this drawing). So I looked into it.
Turns out these are knife pleats, and what I was thinking of were box pleats. I learned something today.
Anywho, this is a good method for either. Thanks for the tutorial, which taught me much more than I thought it would.

Intriguing. So I bet it can also work on long skirts that are worn by pregnant women too, right? I had a sketch of one of my characters during her pregnancy moment. So far, your guides are helpful to me as a video game designer.
