I've been getting asked a lot, on my site, about these elusive creatures I like to call DOLLZ. They're my universal monster and they exist in all of my stories but they look different for each incarnation of them. This is only one version of them, my favorite actually, that appears in my newest project people on my site have started calling 'WISH'. That's not the final name for the story though but I'll refer to it as that for now. Anyway, this is one verson of the DOLLZ that are more 'supernatural' thn the ones that will appear in Crimson Moon. CM's DOLLZ are the result of science run amuck and some powerful magic. These DOLLZ could be considered angry spirits. They're the result of people unwilling to accept their deaths and they lose their minds and turn into these things. Unlike ghosts though, they can't pass into the living world unless ordered to do so. Then they can hurt people. So they're dangerous. They look kind of cute and they act really goofy, but... they'd try to eat you... So... yeah RUN. Lol! They don't eat your body, like the DOLLZ in CM, they eat a persons soul and then that person basically turns into one of them. For the DOLLZ in CM, when they eat a person, that person just dies.

These creatures have to be summoned into the real world. Once they are, it's hard to get them under control again. There's another creature, you'll see him later, that basically bosses the DOLLZ around and calls them his pets. They bring people that are about to die to him and he kills the people. Yeah... it's pretty scary. They come in a range of sizes, from 7 feet tall to barely 6 inches high. The bigger they are the more violent they can be. The smaller ones are really tame but scamper around and make noises a lot. It's hard to kill these creatures because they really have no physical/solid body. They're just made of this dark floating mass that can bend and warp in really odd ways. There's no face or head under that pumpkin mask either. That's the fleshy part of them. If it's cracked then they die. It breaks open like pumpkin would, but it's filled with blood. *shudder* but yeah, there you have it.

Oh yeah, they like candy a lot too. It's actually a good weapon against them. They completely lose their train of thought if a piece of candy is thrown at them. So on Halloween, they can come out when they want to. Ever hear all those rumors about bag snatchers taking little kids candy? Lol, that's the DOLLZ
