I wasn't sure if I should put this in the 'Fantasy' section or the 'Horror' section. Well... I think it's pretty damn scary.Another design from my portfolio and quite possibly my favorite of them all. I was hesitant to put it up because it's possibly the most original thing I've EVER created and I don't want people snatching from it.
I created this creature by mistake actually. I was drawing a women and my pen was leaking, so the ink got all smeared and blobbed all over the paper. An a attempt to fix her waist I kept fixing the lines and the more I drew the thinner her waist got. After a minute I screamed bloody murder and sat the picture aside. Then I paused and stared at it. All of sudden this idea struck me, and I came up with THIS! I imagine this creature to be one of those kinds that casts 'Doom' on you an a RPG, leaving you with 20 seconds to beat it before you die. I call it 'Lost Time'. Instead of sand, her hourglass like body is filled with blood, YOUR blood.

I love so many things about this. It's soft, yet angular. Her limbs are bony--another reminder of death. The wings below her torso and the fact that she has no real face are what creep me out the most. She makes me think, "Just one touch...and you're doomed."

This really appeals to me on many levels. I love the clean, simple rendering and the restricted pallette. It's got a stark boldness to it and the surreal styling just sings. Isn't it great when accidents just happen like that?

Seriously, as so many have said, this is an incredibly creative idea. She (yes I am calling it a she) looks strangely beautiful, like she's made out of alabaster or porcelain. And yet she's VERY creepy.

Wow, first of all this is so imaginatively creative in every aspect! the hands and arms are a tad bit skinny as suggested but i think it adds to the creepy non-human feel so keep it. The clocks are awesome as is the face and the hair is so fluid and invites so much movement (as does the blood inside). In the thumbnails of this character (which i first fell in love with) i got the concept of "time flies" with the winged "legs" but here you've made them look more like a spider or scorpion feel. Either way it is truly amazing and deserves no less then a fav!
