Description I'm actually kind of proud of this. I got really lazy on it by the end, as always, but I'm happy I was able to add a somewhat background that wasn't just a plain color or something. After watching Moulin rouge for the first time with my sister, I got really inspired to paint something like this. The woman is obviously inspired by Satine from the movie, although its not meant to be her at all. There are some things bugging me about this, but I feel I should move on to another painting, don't want to get more tired with this piece than I already am. Its kind of sloppy at some spots, but I'm just that lazy C:

Aaaaanyways, that's all I got to say for now, I'll post more art soon.

This is so good! It must have taken so much work? Everything works so well.. I like the little details- like on the lips

Thanks! Yes, it did indeed take allot of work, but I enjoyed painting it so its ok Glad you like it!

Its pretty good, its old, but pretty good. Everything is so over dramatic and theatrical, I really enjoyed it C:

Thanks! I already knew what color pallet I wanted, so the colors came to me pretty easily when it came to actually painting it. I'm pleased you like it C:

Awww thanks hun Yup, I made a completely orange layer and put it on top of everything, set the layer to color, just to give it that "old" look

Holy crap that's pretty <3

I looove the background and the pattern on her clothes, it fits so well.

The only things I can think to nitpick about is the hair around the left ear-- something about the hairline and the hair going over the edge of the ear looks a little weird to me. And the neck seems a tad too short (in length, not width).

Otherwise, great job on this Nat! <3

The background was fun, but I got sooo lazy on it, just make sure you don't look too close xD

(I assume by left ears you mean her right? Can be so confusing sometimes xD) Well, criticizing hair lines is like criticizing ears. Its different for everyone, sometimes drastically so, but I do agree, she might have a slight side burn thar. There should be some hair there, but I think I pushed it a little Necks and shoulders are THE BANE OF MY EXISTENCE. Seriously though, I'll look out for that next time C:

Agreed about necks and shoulders, throw noses and feet into the mix.

Dunno why, but when I was trying to do it at your house I was having waaaay more trouble than I did at my house. But doesn't it feel good when you finally get that god forsaken star? Yes. Yes it does. Sooooo. how many stars are you at anyways?

Yeah, I waited a couple of months after I finished my mario file to get started on the luigi file. Well, yes, I would enjoy having my game back eventually xD Although there's no hurry, I mean I had you Vesperia for just as long!

And that day will come when I will be able to vanquish my drawing hand's most hated enemies. Indeed.

The first time I tried it it went like super well, I got 99 coins then I fell off. Then I tried a bunch of times and failed horribly. Then I got it. It felt good.

I'm at like 112ish, so close. @_@

This is absolutely stunning. Great job on the hair, it looks really flowly. The whole colouring style is awesome, I love these painty-ish styles! The hat rocks, maybe her upper body is a tad bit too thin, but I might be wrong there - all in all, the foreground goes amazingly well with the background.

Thank you C: The hair was tough, there's sooooo much of it after all xD As for her upper body, I think it doesn't help that her head may be slightly too big I find drawing the upper part of bodies extremely difficult, for some reason I have soo much trouble connecting heads to bodies. That, and the proportions and such. Its haaaard. I'll be sure to look out for that in the future!
