For those thouse Don't know the plague doctors mask was filled with flowers, 2 reasons, 1 they beloved it cured the plague, 2 it help with the smell (because bubonic plague causes people to litterly rot alive)

People mock them nowadays, but plague doctors really were revolutionary for their time. Even without the knowledge of how bacteria and viruses worked, what they were wearing could be considered the precursor to modern hazmat suits.
