Trying out another way to do coloring and palettes, sorta~It all started off when posemaniacs handed over me a practice pose, which funnily enough, was quite fitting as a rifle pose, so I went on and I didn't felt like drawing bulky equipment because reasons~

Hi first review, first off this is super rad, the outfit and character design is really interesting,
The only problem I have with it is that the lower barrel on the shotgun appears to be bent in someway, cause the way the gun is angled in her hands the lower barrel should be somewhat shadowing the upper ne all the way down the gun, but once it goes past her left hand the two barrels are suddenly n profile rather than at the same angle the rest of the gun is. Its just a perspective thing but it did throw me off a bit

Ah yes, I took notice of this issue not long after merging the layers and submitting, that's part of me being lazy at some point, since I always rotate/mirror my canvas to make sure everything looks good. @_@
Oh btw, it isn't a lower barrel lol, it's the ammunition tube. xP

Haha now that's a very nice one. You really surpassed yourself on that. The whole feels pretty dynamic, probably thanks to the posing and all the extra effects (shell flying, dat rain) and the clever use of water reflexion). Seeing a shottie once in a while is nice too, the 870 really is a nice choice even though the M1912 Trench Gun probably is my fav'.
As you can tell, I was quite happy to find that drawing in my inbox
Now if only I could overcome my stupid art block :/

Haha yes, what's not to love with a classic firearm. Huuh, art blocks, the worst thing for people like us to happen, perhaps you could try out something new, drawing the unusual and what not, maybe even just doodling random figure sketches until you come up with something cool, good luck overcoming it.

Ahh yes, this is one disavantage when you do the background after the subject, though I was thinking more about the early light rays that goes through the clouds after raining. :V

Wait, when a shell ejects does it bend like that? I thought they still keep the cylinder shape even after it fires. The only thing different is that the part where the pellets come out of is more busted out.

Perhaps I overdid it a bit, since I thought it would somewhat flex since it is made of plastic instead of brass. o.o

May squish a bit, but not bend like that from a shot, only bends when actual physical force applied to it.

You're right. After firing a shell, the front is busted out with a little distortion of shell at the most. It would never bend like that when it ejects.
