Description Turns out be a great idea to use the "shapes dynamic" brush setting for the camouflage pattern.
Gonna take a break on Canadian uniforms now.

The dude shoulda take a low-visibility flag insignia. red/white on green sticks out like a sore thumb.

Usually the red and white flags are used when you are in garrison. If your in the field you use the green and black ones.

Ah yep, I usually put the low-vis one one drawings where troops are deployed. Always end up putting the regular patch somehow lol

Ah yep, probably due to the contrast between the red and greens.

good job on the CANPAT,I also like the angle of M4. By the way, what kind of sight is that?

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

NDTwoFives In reply to HollywoodMarine2171 [2012-08-04 14:38:50 +0000 UTC]

It's not a M4, also a carbine but based on the earlier CAR-15s.
That's the ELCAN sight, I believe that a different version is also mounted on LMGs in the US.

you should try adding the shoulder pieces to the frag vest. As well if making arid CADPAT you can try the bicep pieces

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

NDTwoFives In reply to delta-recon13 [2012-08-03 16:46:09 +0000 UTC]

Indestructible-APH In reply to NDTwoFives [2012-10-09 07:19:02 +0000 UTC]

BTW, for future refference, Canadian soldiers wearing body armour are trained to present our chest to the enemy. (That's where the ceramic/metal plate is in the frag vest). Standing at an angle like that exposes our sides (that have no hard armour) and turns the bullet-stopping plate away from the enemy.

He's supposed to be against an invisible wall, ready to burst through door. But thanks for the heads-ups nonetheless, I'll keep this little detail in mind for future works.

Because that's pretty sweet!
