This is simply a fantastic piece of work. I have been watching this deviant for awhile and I can safely say this is one of the best works they've put out yet. Gorgeous colors, excellent presentation and fabulous interpretation of something well known. My particular favorite is the colors. They are beautiful and elegant, but not so much as being gaudy. Not to mention the pose of the model herself. She stands prim and proper, nose upturned, acting every bit the queen bee she is. This is simply stunning work, and it is one my favorite out of all Neko-Vi's deviations!

I've always been truly amazed by your work! As intrigued as I am by unique fashions like these, I never seem able to produce my own, which I guess adds to my interest in your abilities, haha!
This definitely captures both the classic black and yellow stripes and soft yellow fuzz always associated with bees, but it presents it in a sophisticated, classy manner instead of some cartoony, obvious costume. See, unlike some Party City bumblebee costume, this is a gown that both delivers the objective of a regal queen bee, and is also wearable. I could picture this dress being worn for an actual occasion, Which is actually quite amazing when you think about it; you've managed to skillfully revisit a classic theme (because honestly, "Queen Bee" is used as a theme in many costumes, art pieces, etc), but deliver it in a new way, bringing out the potential that overused theme has instead of just drawing something that's been drawn a hundred times before, with it's only individual uniqueness coming from your personal style.
This is simply sophisticated. It's believable, so to speak, and the Queen Bee theme isn't bold enough to interfere with the gorgeous, desirable nature of the overall gown.
I haven't had the chance to critique much of your work, but for at least this, an awed round of applause to you and your talents--it's always an exciting joy to see what you create! Keep up the great work!

I love the design, as the colors clash quite nicely. The collar part seems to be a sort of fur-like fabric, I like how it gives a more lush appearance around the top. The jewelery is not my favorite, but it looks absolutely perfect for this dress!
I must say that this dress would be quite the project to make, but it would be worth the while. The jewel on the left (our right) side of the dress does seem to represent a bee on a flower, as I spot a pair of wings coming of of it.
The white section on the bottom right (our left) does not seem like it should belong if you focus on it; however, it does bring the dress together and look nicely with it. (This is meant to be a compliment, not an insult!)
As usual, your coloring style and design is stunning and amazing. I look forward to see more!

The design is beautiful, and I love the way textures were used to get the feeling of the fabric across... the only thing that bothers me is how inhumanly thin her waist is. There's no room for organs in there D: I understand the point is the dress (and it's breathtaking) but that one little thing stands out to me :c

I made it very thin because the concept is the queen bee. bees have very thin waist, and in the past, royal and high society women used to express their status with tight corsets, because they would need assistaints to put it. I just described these concepts in an artistic/fashion way.. but I'm not promoting anorexy.

I love all of your work so much. You can take any idea and just create something so beautiful and unique but still so linked to the concept. This one and your two swan dresses got me really excited about the idea of bird themed dresses (probably because I study birds). Just...you know...if you're ever looking for inspiration, maybe check out some bird pictures. Insect themed like this one would be pretty awesome, too.

Very fitting for a queen!!! All of the accessories are so well placed. The big skirt does resemble the big booty of a queen bee, and I love the bottom part of the skirt, because it looks like honey!! Wonderful job
