A Katana (almost) pin-up for Brooklyn
I think she is the most beautiful femal character introduced to the Gargoyles universe so far ("Sacrifice" would be my second favourite).
This is my first attempt in gradient shading and working with coloured outlines. Critique is much appreciated!

Awesome work. I must admit though, I died a little inside when I found out about Katana. Part of me was happy that Brooklyn finally found his girl, but most of me was sad, because now there's no possibility of him dating a human (like, say, me!).

There's nothing except that Brooklyn USED to get rejected by female gargoyles while Brock gets rejected by women or gets injured by Misty, Max, and Croagunk. Sadly, Brock is alone.

I just found out that my uncle had my Gargoyles DVD for the past three months when he came back from London and I'm so happy to finally watch my childhood show after 12 years.
Brooklyn and Katana really do belong together. Great jobn btw. She is BEAUTIFUL!!!

I like the colors and gradients used, illumination is really cool. Outlines are not out of my attention.

I'm not very familar with this particular style of coloring (half gradients, half cel/anime style) so I can't give you specific tips, but my first thought is that you've improved a lot since your last pics and that this pic in particular looks very "professional", I mean that I would not be surprised to see it printed on a DVD or comic book cover or some other kind of gargoyles promotional material

Eheh, well I was so surprised to see they picked up a coloration so close to my version too! ^^ but of course it couldn't be just the as same as mine in design.
