It's a beautiful photo. I love when you can see the shafts of light through dust and smoke, it's almost otherworldly.

yes, i am a photojournalist for our local NBC affiliate. the story link is in the artist's comments, the manager gave me a tour of the building.....

This is sheer beauty... Don't know where to start, but I believe what I like most about is the contrast between the fire and the sun. The fire is slowly being extinguished, the sun breaks through - life conquers death, another cycle of restoration begins (but I hope no one died). Just beautiful.

Stunning image, it is a perfect example that even in destruction and disaster beauty can be found. I love the god rays in this image, they feel as though they are extinguishing the flames. Or it could just be my crazy imagination
Only one critique from me and that is on a design stand point. Please change the font you used to place your name on the image it does not do the image justice at all imho and the color is to saturated it distracts from the image I think.
