Very generic stamp about theists getting offended regarding their faith.

I'm going to be frank with you, theists, I don't care. Let me explain this...

First of all, to me even holding a Bible is offensive. Being dogmatic, that's offensive. Fundamentalism, that's offensive. Preaching the word, that's offensive. Things that theists are offended by are those things, but in an atheist point of view. Theists walk around like they own the place, precisely like they're correct and everyone else is wrong. Their faith is right and nothing will make it any less right. Let me present the facts on the table, straight and blunt, theists, you are WRONG. Your faith is not the only one out there. You go by as much proof as Judaism, Scientology, Muslim, FSM, it's all the same, you're just blind to that. You're all based on the same amount of logic and proof (I mentioned a mock religion on purpose) so there's no reason AT ALL to believe YOU are correct, or even to have certainty, for that matter. It really bugs me when theists can't seem to shut up about faith. You'll be in a normal conversation then suddenly God is brought up right out of the goddamned blue. Please stop. Yes I do bring up my atheism often, but the funny thing is that it's always a counter to something religious that was brought up. I like having a relatable conversation as well so anyone's tangents about God pretty much leave me wondering why I sparked conversation in the first place.

If you want to argue that all my anti-religion deviations came out of preaching, I will say to you that each one is a counter to EVERY religious argument I've ever had. In each one I'm countering religion, trying to finally make others understand. I don't say, "Well bloody hell it's raining outside, but at least I know that God doesn't exist..."

Secondly theists, explain to me why religion is so freaking untouchable. Why should it be? It's just a belief, it's not based on anything, it's totally up in the air. I'm not going to lose 99.9% of arguments to thinly spare your feelings, I am going to put my facts on the table, and if you don't like it then you can toughen up about it and try again. Look, I'm not normally this much of a Drill Sergeant about things but I definitely don't see the problem with being blunt about one's religions views, after all, THEISTS DO IT TO US! The difference is that if a theist says I'm living a lie I draw an arrogant grin and ask them why they think so. If that's in vise versa then the theist will immediately get offended and start spewing offensive phrases that quite frankly were not called for. If you want to fight for your faith, fine, but I ask that you don't think you have more rights than I do in terms of belief. Factually, I'm as correct as you are, where the real money lies is whether or not you can prove or at least convince me that the Christian God is not an asshole.

EDIT: This is also my very first stamp, quite the rushed one not to be artistic but to get a point across. If ever I make another one I'll certainly work harder on it.

EDIT 20/05/12: It seems that this has surprisingly gotten a lot more attention and favourites than I ever expected. Believe it or not, I partly disagree with this stamp now and doesn't adequately illustrate my opinion anymore. If you want something else, I'll certainly make it.
