THis really hurts. It's so amazing, though. Is that Reaper tech? A very nice touch. Shepard's open-mouthed sobbing is so realistic, it's enough to imply the shake of his shoulders and the pain in his heart. Poor Jack.

If you don't go to rescue Jack and her students you fight her later in the Cerberus base as a phantom. There's not a cutscene, but it's mentioned by your squad mates.

If you don't rescue her in time at Grissom Academy, she gets abducted by Cerberus and gets turned into a phantom. Later, Shepard has to kill her and even if you romanced her, Shepard barely show's any emotion. So, I remedied that.

He does show emotion. After Shep kills her, a squadmate will sorrowly say something along the lines of "Poor Jack". Shepard will angrily retort, "Β It wasn't her. Not anymore. That's just one more thing Cerberus will answer for."
