[Edit: I'm just curious as to why this is getting so many favorites lately. Has there been a surge of Leviathan readers or something? Because seriously, this thing deserves to be in my scraps. Or at least redone... I think I'll redo it.]

First things first. I doubt it's remotely funny or even makes sense since this was originally just for me to pass time, but I'm posting this because I fell in love with how the sketches looked.

Yupp. This is basically how I spent all 42 minutes of my study hall today. What prompted this? The fact that Alek thought Lilit was a man at first considering you know she didn't even try to hide in a man's get-up. I could just imagine Deryn questioning Alek's intelligence after that. This could be interpreted that:

1. Deryn making fun of him for not telling a girl and boy apart
or
2. Deryn amazed that in several minutes he noted Lilit a beautiful girl and amazed he couldn't tell the difference, meanwhile, he's been with Deryn a whole week and couldn't tell.

I really like how Alek turned out in the first frame, and his hands in the last. I'll probably shade this or color later. Or y'know. I always say this stuff and never do it.
