Description
Here you can see one of the blocks I carved to print with. It took about 30 hours to carve the lineart. It's an 18x24" board, and my toes are tehre to help you get an idea of the size.My hands still hurt.

...this is so cool. So that's how you did it... like, gouged out the sides, then on the plateau, carved it intricately...

Mmm, linocuts are super fun...haha no and wood cuts are even worse...unless you have a rotary tool! Muhahaha, power tools can be your friends.
Good job though, I'm sure it took forever. I always try to keep mine under 4x4 in to save time and my hands. But we're not allowed to turn in hand colored one either, so 
Ukiyo-e prints were some of my favorites in Asian Art History...I really liked Geisha as Daruma crossing the sea...
anyway, long winded way of saying, good job, I appreciate you time and effort; it's evident in the final product

i did that for a school project ages ago myself. Man it was time consuming but it wasn nearly that big =o very awesome btw

Aw...**gives your hands a massage** It looks awesome, though. My Mom wants to do stuff like that, but on a much smaller scale...like making her own rubber stamps for her scrapbooking stuff.
