Eva is one of the new characters introduced in Uncanny x-men and she is already my new favourite. Shes Ausrtralian, her mutant name is Tempus, she can create pauses in time (within this kind of bubble forcefield thing. Its super cool basically) and she manages to stop the entire team of avengers (including the hulk. Like, wow, people. Be impressed) all at the same time. Also she's super cute. So yeah, i pretty much love her already.This was originally a very sketchy sketch so please excuse all the ugly messy lines, i tried to clean it up as best i could in photoshop to a bit of sucess.
BTW the gold balls shes resting on are actually from another new students powers. Yeah, his powers are to generate these big bouncy yellow balls. I don't really get it either. They look super fun though. He might be a little usless in combat but he'd be super fun at parties.

That's gorgeous! I like the sketchy lines! What are/is copics? Because I was going to ask how you colored it. I generally color everything in Photoshop these days, but I wanna get back into doing things more completely with traditional tools, but it's been a long time. I see a lot of pieces people do in marker that look great like this, but I can't figure out how they get marker to look so good, ha.

Copics are probably the BEST marker brand you can get out there, but it is SO expensive to get them. They blend the colors for you, it's super cool. There are different brands too, for example, I use prismacolor markers, but these are the best choice if you are a professional at art already.

Her powers are a huge boon for Cyclops' team. Makes recruitment and dealing with the cops and Avengers easier.

She's becoming one f my faves too! I really like her outfit and want to draw her because of it. lol you captured her quite cute! XD But i agree with that kid's yellow balls/orb things. It seems kinda stupid to me, and usless as well, but ehh. anyways super cute.

That's what I always loved about the idea of mutant powers- the fact that some might not be useful in combat. At all. and are just average things, or fun things, like the gold balls.
