Illo for Pathfinder 11."This horror looks like it might have once been a gigantic, powerful wolf. All of the thingβs flesh was been stripped away, though, revealing the bare, bloody muscle beneath. Then the entire creature has been tightly wrapped over and over with thick chains covered in jagged, evil-looking spikes that constrict the creature horribly"

Sweet monster! Your visual additions and embellishments to the text description make for an even more creepy, horrific beast! Almost as if it took more than one set of canine remains to make one of these things, and the chains are there to hold them together, even against their will.

This creature was given the name "The Prince in Chains" in the finished book, described as the unfortunate and now insane victim of the god of torture and pain, in truth the father of that same god.
I don't know why there are all the comments above about it not matching the description, i think you did a brilliant job with what they gave you.

looks sweet
though from the description it sounded like the chains were digging into the muscle, which would have looked pretty rad (spikes on the chains that dig in, then, as the dog moves, tug gouges in the flesh)
