Description
This roundel design is for the air force of the Kingdom of Naples under the Trastamara dynasty.The Trastamaras would come to rule over Naples when Alfonso V of Aragon forced Rene, the Angevin King of Naples to flee to Provence. This dynasty would rule over Aragon from 1442 to 1501 and again from 1504-1555, when Joanna, Queen of Spain died and was succeeded by the first Hapsburg King, Charles IV.
