The Treaty of Fez was signed in 1911 to solve the Agadir Crisis: Germany recognized the French protectorate in Morocco and got in exchange some territories in French Equatorial Africa, adding them to German territories in Kamerun.
OK, I´m afraid knows more about the History of these territories and tribes involved.
Germany got Neukamerun in 1911, though German colonies were occupied in the early days of WWI and lost them after war.
The Treaty of Fez did not satisfy anyone. Germany considered the prize really poor and they also had to give some of his territories in Chad to France. Morocco perceived the treaty as a treason to his nationalistic interests, causing riots and the fall of sultan Abd-al-Hafid.
...The wars between Morocco and French-Spanish troops in the next years demonstrated that Morocco was not going to stay quiet. But that´s another story.
"1914" is a fancomic about causes of WWI inspired by Hidekaz Himaruya´s stories and characters.

Eh, the Treaty of Fès certainly didn't go how anyone would have liked, I think.
And indeed, Morocco was not happy. The Istiqlal party was formed... Only for France to arrest them, and then kick out the sultan, as you said. In my research several times it was said that if Algeria was not also being a thorn in France's side, France would never have accepted their Independence. ...Which is kind of interesting, considering Morocco and Algeria do not get along in present time.

ah I see thank you, hah, maybe I should put up a site for the Nigerian tribes and other African subjects so that people can draw from their designs as well, so that's why people's drawings of the Balkans looked so uniform

The proliferation of her work, especially considering it was created more than five years ago, demonstrates the way in which she chose to approach Hetalia as a concept.
It is an sharing experience, not something you simply read or watch in a web browser and close after. Her work help fans to engage and experience history, even if it is not Balkan history.

Indeed, I love the "sharing experience" concept. Tix created some archetypical characters using the "Hetalian" concept, and I think people like them because of their impeccable descriptions and background stories. They´re simple, they´re charming and they´re (I think) accurate. Well, at least that´s why I loved them, and that´s why I think not even Himaruya sensei would be able to create better "yugotalian characters". (I may be wrong, but I think Tix made an awesome work) Many people created Balkan OC´s, but hers are not only incredibly drawn, they are coherent.

Voy a hacer el master que quería, pero que no podía hacer por falta de pasta y tiempo. No es que vaya muy sobrada de lo primero, pero algo pude ahorrar estos años. Y estando en la marina no podía porque es un master presencial con un montón de prácticas y tal ^^U Voy a ocupar el tiempo yendo a cursos etc, pero bueno, ya no es lo mismo que pasarse veinte días seguidos haciendo el tonto en alta mar, o tres meses de maniobras por ahí. Moló porque pude conocer un montón de países, pero sabía que no era una cosa para siempre y en fin, me alegra dejarlo atrás.

Está bien durante un tiempo, pero si empieza a dejar de gustarte lo mejor que puedes hacer es dejarlo. Yo he tenido que irme de Madrid y ahora estoy en Mondragón, dando clases de informática como te dije, allá en tierras vascas. Voy a pasar un invierno congelado como un cubito de hielo pero al menos tengo curro. Y es posible que el año que viene me vaya a Finlandia para lo mismo. Siempre ha sido mi sueño irme a los países nórdicos. Me voy a congelar todo el año pero qué más da.
