I was thinking that we see albino/leucistic/piebald animals in all manner of wild animals, so one must assume occasionally the freak dino was also born. Hence, albino t-rex!

This is a good example of completely overthinking a cartoon drawing...
For those who didn't know, baby tyrannosaurs were a LOT slimmer and relatively more long-legged than they were as adult, as they had surprisingly narrow heads (even when halfway adult), so the proportions are more or less correct (to the best of my ability). I did a baby rather than adult since I assume a white tyrannosaur wouldn't survive too long...

There's a lot of debate on whether these guys were feathered or not. We know they had plenty of relatives with feathers (including what's believed to be their ancestors) but the larger an animal is, the harder it is for it to lose heat (and they don't need to worry much about keeping it, like small animals do). So giant animals generally do not have fur or feathers (compare with rhinos, elephants and hippos...) and we have some t-rex imprints showing scales. So some have suggested they had fuzz as babies which they then lost as they grew (like we see today in some birds, for instance baby ostriches have feathers all over but lose them on parts of their bodies as they grow). I like that theory, so my rex is fuzzy... It's supposed to be more like baby chicken fuzz than actual feathers, though.
