GENERAL

Personality:
[ Conniving / Malicious / Unfaithful / Facetious / Salacious / Stealthy / Conversational / Blithe / Independent ]
Savuldar is a particularly short-tempered man, and conniving in his ways. Working beneath the law and selling stolen items is an aspect of his employment he takes as the usual- It would not be beyond him to steal from a customer, only to sell it at a later date for a fetching price to fuel his pleasure for alcohol. It isn’t uncommon to find him at the tavern, placing idle bets upon things- Or enjoying the physical company of others; as well as rich wines and ales. That being said, cross him- And he is every part the malicious, wild fighter he was trained to be; with a certain lacking for morals, he would almost be thrilled to spill blood for a reason- Or, if antagonised, for no reason.
Likes:
Good business, steady income! (Money money money--)
Shiny/golden objects- especially that of clothing, rings
Wine/Alcohol; non bias over either.
Attention; whether it be negative or else
Finely crafted weaponry; knives, etc
Intricately embroidered clothing
Jewellery of most/any sort
His own stealth/tricks; especially toying with others.
Salacious commentary (Flirting) For amusement
Snide conversations/banter; a great source of entertainment!
Dislikes:
Being proved wrong
Losing items (I wouldn't be surprised. He can be clumsy at times.)
Most humans (Never had a pleasant run in before, really!)
Spineless people (AKA Shy company, quiet folk- he finds them bland)
Dull conversation (Slow paced, irrelevant)
Excess affection (Struggles to comprehend it)
Authority (For obvious reasons, lol)
Brown-nosing
Stern, disinteresting company
Loose clothing, he prefers things to be fitted for comfort

HISTORY
_______________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________
Background:
Savuldar originally dwelled within a mid-sized Dalish Clan- Varanthae- In which he took influence from in the concept of his morality, and ideals. Savuldar was an extremely focused elf, with a large portion of his personality devoted to his people, and their principles; as well as the defence of sacred sites, and the displeasure towards surrounding races that were beginning to flock the landscape. Inevitably, he was once an extremely sheltered- If not arrogant being, in the face of his own world-view. That being said, everything appeared to tear apart as chaos gripped the land; tearing him from his clan.
Working within Varanthaen hunting party, Savuldar foolishly took interest in the tradesmen of other villages- In which, he found the lives of warriors combatting evil enticing. Dwelling among such others and disputing against some of his own beliefs, the young elf found himself torn between a life he had known; and a new life calling to him. Haphazardly, he chose the latter- Leading to a struggle he had not anticipated. For to survive alone, with none surrounding him- Required wit, strength, street-sense- But foremostly, money. Something he had inherently lacked at the time, leading him down darker paths; taking upon work in a less than legal fashion, and landing himself in strife. Work such as selling his skills, his own creations and poisons- And also selling things that had not belonged to him in the first place, accompanied by commissions of thievery.
Throughout those darker, harsher years of his life- Savuldar lost an extensive amount of his prior self-respect, modesty- And sense of faith and interaction. Turning from a noble, harsh elf to a conniving- sharp-tongued thief, whom stole and traded for what little coin was available. Additionally, selling off his knowledge of poisons in the form of discrete vials; swapped between guarded hands as blind eyes turned aside, foolishly concentrated upon the shadowed maws that closed around the world; threatening to tear fate apart. In these years, Savuldar experimented with companions- One sole companion drew close to him, and he admired them dutifully; daring to utter words of pledge, no matter his crude work ethic. Savuldar assured there was faithfulness within him, no matter how buried- And within this bond, sparked an affection he thought so deeply swallowed down.
Battle claimed his intended from him, tearing them away with the threat of war- Sent off to protect them all, only to never return. Whilst, remorsefully, Savuldar felt little for such a loss- Numbed, he inwardly vowed never to invest in such sentiments. It was not bitterness, nor misery that fueled this choice; mere selfish intent, and perhaps a quiet- sombre note of absolution. With that, his affections were lost; turned cold and stale within his veins- A useless sentiment he was too afraid to dwell on; turning him instead to desire flesh, over sentiment.
Throughout his devious lifestyle, he managed to build a home enough for himself; with somewhere to stay- Invest time in poisons, trinkets and small- fine weaponry to sell, he took upon the title of Savrus, a noble- blithe tradesmen of the middle-class world. Whilst criminalistic traits still riddle his blood in the way of petty thievery, he takes enjoyment through creating goods now; wasting his time ignoring the dangers that flock the world around him; reminded only by the graze of weaponry across his features, leaving shallow scars mapped over his face. Amusingly, he enjoys adjusting his appearance with each new facade taken on- And it is not uncommon for him to adjust the colour of his hair with certain potions, and to wear hoods- even certain makeup types to change his appearance. Quite the chameleon.

Additional info:
Adores alcohol to the extent of addiction- It is as much a crutch for him, as it is an enjoyment. With the ability to make him forget, though not forgive- He enjoys the confidence it supplies.
Despite all his grace and serpentine malicious-tendencies, with the addition of alcohol and perhaps unwarranted comments- He can be somewhat clumsy.
Is not typically one to appreciate soft-spoken, gentle folk; it takes a lot for him to open up, even with those deemed friends.
His bark is worse than his bite- Verbal attacks are poignant, and the most commonly used weapon in certain debates.
When he isn’t pulling harsh, crude expressions- His features can soften and look quite dazzling- As he will most likely boast, but as much as he enjoys his beauty; Savuldar takes pride in his cruel features, too.
Gentle gestures of affection make him uncomfortable, at times- He prefers harsh honesty, unadulterated gestures and a companionship devoid of wretched attachments, unless- his attentions are vied for in a manner he reciprocates.
Quite a flirt. Shameless.
