This is another commisioned piece of D&D character I just finished. Anub is a creature from the astral planes and in this picture is shown his true form and the humoid one he hides behind.Related content

Darn, this looks so cool - I mean, his humanoid form would have been cool enough for a single pic, what with the cool robes and sword and all - but then you just had to have that wicked, wicked monster hanging about his back! Sugoi-des!!!
And the concept behind the pic - this benevolent-looking man, merely a mask for the monstrous beast within - great stuff! (^0^)
The background really fits, too! Man, you sure are talented!

Thank you for lovely comments Yasutsuna, I really enjoyed the comments. I am so glad you understood this picture so well. This guy is one of the characters I am writing about and yes Anub pretends to be this sweet little elf mage but really is a very evil and twisted demon from the astral plains.

I'm happy you enjoy my works so well. As for my written work some of it on my EW gallery and but the stuff most of this piece are meant to illustrate are posted on Gothic Expressions.com on the forum boards. I use role playing with the character to work out the plots and see if they work right. I am the game master for the group called The Brotherhood of Hollow Seas. It's a medieval time setting and about pirates who get into all kinds of adventures. But I have several of my short stories listed there also. Been thinking of postings some of the smaller ones here just to see what folks think.

Thank you, I didn't have anything to use for a reference for this one and had to work solely from my own imagination for this guy and what I thought the astral planes would look like. I was sorta worried folks wouldn't understand it. hehe.
