The photo I used for reference was one of the two of them at an awards ceremony. Bradley kinda looks like Arthur, even when he's Bradley. But Colin really doesn't look like Merlin when he's Colin, it's very odd.

yeah, I noticed and I totally agree! I think that what makes Colin such a great actor, he never looks 'himself' in hos roles or vice versa!

Yes, you can see a photo of him as Cathal, or Calum, or Merlin and he looks totally different in each one, his range of expressions and his pose and his mannerisms seem to change for each role. He really is a super actor.
In contrast I watched Matt Smith, (Doctor Who) in a film last week, "Bert and Dickie", and I saw him in "Isherwood". Now, I like Matt Smith, and he's a good actor. But with him he always kinda seems the same, I never forget he's Matt Smith playing a part. He doesn't inhabit the role the way Colin seems to.

I've not seen Bradley in anything else, but I can imagine it's true, as he looks just the same as Arthur normally. (Okay, he's in modern clothes, but there's not the total difference in expression etc that there is in Colin.)
I'm really looking forward to seeing what Colin goes on to do in the future. I'd LOVE to see him in a romantic lead, or in a Shakespeare play, (Tom Hiddlestone, (Loki), was absolutely super in the BBC1 Shakespeare plays they've been broadcasting over the last four weeks)

Well no, I see people commenting that they are fed-up with Merlin, and I just SOOO totally am not. I wish the series would just go on and on.
I'd just like to see a magic reveal before the whole thing ends. I REALLY want to see Arthur realise who Merlin truly is and accept him. I do so hope they do that.
