David - this is really a fabulous photo - I actually rubbed my screen to wipe off the mist where it touches the wall right hand bottom before I realised it was part of the photo

Thank you very much, Pamela - it does seem to work quite well. I think this sort of shot works when there is simplicity, some easy big shapes, and good variation in tone.

I know what you mean about DA, but today it has been my service provider - I've seen faster snails than this connection.

The connections are all over the place at the moment, Sheri. Sometimes the problem seems to be here with connection rates in the low hundreds of Kbytes per second - yes that slow, but at other times the hold up seems to be higher up, as if the whole bandwidth across the internet is taken up. Sometimes, DA seems to be at fault, but there has been no alert email (I signed up for this service) so DA is not registering a problem. I submitted some images to some groups, but the usual submission messages did not appear until this morning! All very odd.

A re-visited and re-worked image from a few years ago, Mike. Actually very little PP done - a slight "squaring up" and crop, and a slight re-balance of colours to emphasise that top right corner.
