London by night. Colour Efex Pro rendering of some grainy, blurry shots, using the Midnight filter, custom adjusted.Sunday SundayWhat a dreary, dull, damp and dismal Sunday morning! Rain and heavy cloud! What can you do on such a dispiriting day? Look for some photographs of course and play with them to make pretty images! Panic attack - the file containing the shots I have in mind is not to be found in Lightroom - why not? The catalogue says they are there, but they're not showing - imminent meltdown of catastrophic proportions!!! I blame Brexit, climate change, the Government, meowing cats, banging doors...Oops, they are filed on a different Drive! Panic over... Brexit not so bad, climate change over-egged, meowing cat is adorable, but the Government still sucks and doors are still banging.
Here are three shots taken last February in London at night with my Canon EOS M. With shutter speeds of about 1/10th second and ISO up at 6400, the originals look woeful - blurred, distorted and oddly angled. Making a virtue out of necessity, Linda - long exposure, hand held, fuzzy outcome, but use the blur to make the mood.
