Yes, I thought it might make for a neat visual medium. I remember reading some Batman short stories that employed a similar philosophy and I thought it was absolutely brilliant.
And with me being a novice at comic book making, I decided to avoid the challenge of making room for word balloons and worrying about dialogue. I figured there's no reason to burden down a story with poorly written dialogue and unnecessary word balloon clutter if the art and layouts can do the job on their own merits! I wanted to advance the story through careful layouts and artistic poses that suggest energy and motion, playing to my strengths and sidestepping my weaknesses.

I was wondering why you went with the newer Shredder design than the old one... but being in full armor makes it easier for it to be anybody under that mask...

Indeed, I wanted to build up some suspense before the reveal!

I don't see the eraser marks too bad. part of the fun and charm of what youre doing is having small issues with things like that.
i like the shredder design, especially the red where the eyes are. it maks it more nightmarish

Yeah, I like the look of the cyclops-esque visor! Like I said, I got the idea from production art for the unproduced 4th live-action movie.
