Description Teagan would have made a much better ruler than either Alistair or Anora, this guy has his priorities straight.

I'm still a lazy poser...
And as I was correcting this I got a new headcanon. 'No one was more surprised when Teagan spoke up against Loghain at the Landsmeet than Teagan himself.'

Yeah, that came as a total surprise for me. I don't know why they did it. It didn't seem like DAO Teagan at all.

I totally would've made Teagan the ruler of Ferelden if I could've, or maybe my big brother Fergus, assuming he dealt with the loss of his family better than is little sister did anyway.

I have always headcanoned that when the time comes to replace Alistair (since in my version it's he and Cousland on the throne, though she leaves long before he does), Teagan and Fergus (again, cause I'm a Cousland thus he survives) are the two nominees for the throne, and both of them are mortified at the thought.

Teagan! One of my favourites. I like the colours in this and the expression. Whilst I don't think he's a ginger as LonelySeeker suggests, he's definitely a more copper brown but meh, it's a minor point. However, this does feel like it's not finished and I realised it's because of the slightly flat light and the lack of detailing around the eyes. You are good at putting in interesting highlights and shadows and contrasting colours but I feel you never got that far here. Also, whilst your details usually are implied, there is none of that here. Is this a wip?

olivegbg In reply to Gaspode5 [2014-03-23 13:30:16 +0000 UTC]

Heh, no. I don't want to use my sense of dramatic contrasts as a crutch in every image. This is supposed to be softer, a bit vague, more natural skin tones. A bit like the character feels to me. This is not a repetition of something I've already done but a try to move ahead. First ones always suck a bit...

Hm, I see what you are after but I can't say what to do to improve. I think I reacted to the fact it looks a bit like a photo taken with a flash. Maybe less contrast between the man and the background...

A photo perfekt! I'm not sure what to improve and I like the contrast. He's like a ghost (with great eyes)

Gaspode5 In reply to olivegbg [2014-03-23 14:30:56 +0000 UTC]

I'm getting older so I will objectify as much as I like. Especially the young ones. I'm honing my lecherous old crone image. I will need it in the future.

olivegbg In reply to Gaspode5 [2014-03-23 14:54:48 +0000 UTC]

Heh, I'm older than you and still manage a polite attitude! (I have no doubt I will do a great lecherous old crone though)

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

Gaspode5 In reply to olivegbg [2014-03-23 15:14:37 +0000 UTC]

The older I get the more I realise polite is overrated. Another few years and I will queue jump and tell young whipper-snappers to bugger off. Besides, objectifying handsome men is what I call payback. Not that anybody ever objectifies me...

olivegbg In reply to Gaspode5 [2014-03-23 15:31:53 +0000 UTC]

Heh, I still think being polite and kind gives a bigger pay-off in the end. I have no problem biting someone's head off (if they deserve it) but until then...

Oh I get it. In my mind Teagan was a 'very-late-surprise-gift' and as such much indulged by his parents . Nothing much was ever expected of him. He surprised himself most of all when he took a stand against Loghain at the Landsmeet.
