Description
A leather version of the Plague Doctor Mask featuring hand stitched leather beak and red lensed goggles. The mask has two respirator ports on the underside of the beak to help filter out all of that air tainted with the black death.

This mask was created by stitching together two pieces of flat leather and then wet pulling it over a plaster cast of my face.

The Gorget (collar) is embossed leather with brass and copper findings held fast by nickel rivets. It features a keyhole motif in the center suggesting that the wearer is locked in to such a getup, not of their own volition.

The hat is, well, a bowler hat I made a few years ago. Black fur felt. Nothing special.

A better photoshoot will come. I've just finished it this very minute and wanted to post.
